Our resort’s spring-fed waterfront on King’s Bay is internationally sought out for swimming with the manatees. With newly renovated rooms we are the ideal spot in Crystal River, FL to rest, relax and have a great experience. With what the resort offers, we are an ideal destination to make great memories for you and your family. The kayak & boat rentals provide an immersive experience from our private launch boat ramp for a variety of marine life activities such as fishing, scalloping, and manatee tours. The best part of our resort is that you can do all of this without leaving our property. Captain Mike’s Swimming with Manatees, located conveniently in our lobby, provides all of these great tours and activities. Bring your boat! We have ample parking for your trailer and several boat slips to keep your boat moored to. Crystal River downtown has an array of local shops, cuisine, and libations for guests to accent their destination activities within a short walk.

Positives:
This hotel was close to the places we wanted to see. I would consider another hotel farther away next time though. This place had many problems.
Negatives:
The hot water broke for the building that we were in. There was no problem solving to get us a hot shower. The outlet in the lamp was broken but replaced after we called. The A/C didn't blow cold air. We would have been better off camping and saved $$$

This hotel is a gem. While there are other named hotels in the vicinity, this one is off the charts. I accidently found it while looking for a restaurant that we were recommended to eat. They had rooms available so we took it and don't regret it!

The staff was amazing. The locale is perfect. Walk to a waterfront restaurant with live entertainment. Book a Manatee swim, scallop dive, fishing expedition or whatever your fancy and possibly sail from adjacent docks.

Theres a remodel going on so things were in need of completion. If the hurricanes leave it alone, it will be lovely when its done.

Hotel employee at the front desk. Awesome person! The location is perfect for access to kayaking and other water activities.

The mattress needs updating. It appeared all of the bottom units in our building were under renovations so it's possible new mattresses are on the way.

Staff was wonderful and super helpful. The location was perfect for getting around town and particularly good during the Manatee Festival as there was limited parking.

We've been visiting Crystal River for over 30 years and the Best Western is the best. The facilities are perfectly located and there is a lot to do in the area. The staff is always friendly and helpful too.
Negatives:
The only thing I would complain about is the breakfast bar is gone and it was something we always looked forward to visiting. Bring the breakfast bar back a leave the coffee shop too. Thanks

The breakfast was great. However, the breakfast that was supposed to start at 6 was not opened to us until 6:10 because the staff wasnt ready, which is fine. The delivery of information was rather rudely relayed though. The room was clean.
Negatives:
The boardwalk on the bay was a disaster zone. The signage lead to nowhere and everything was under construction without any warning. The beds were also terribly hard and uncomfortable.
