Our check in was supposed to be at 4:00 PM. They did not have a room available for us until almost 9:30 PM. I called so many times to see if our room was ready yet and the front desk would answer and hang up. I went to the hotel front desk. there was one guest that walked up with me. No other guests checking in. I called standing in front of the desk 3 times and watched the employee (with no guests to attend to) answer and hang up the phone over and over. I spoke with the other receptionist expressed being upset over the room not being available until 9:30 and then the employee refusing to answer the phone. She stated her GM would be in the following day and could issue a refund for the inconveniences. She was kind through the process, but the guy up front was so rude. Also, another guest came to see if their room was ready at 9:30 PM and was informed they would have NO ROOM for her. We went to our room and the air conditioner was broke. It was over 80 degrees in our room and felt like the whole floor. The comforters on the bed had black stains across them, the pull out sofa was soaking wet, there was no pool, and had to walk down the road for public beach access. This was nothing as described on booking. Horrible experience, so stressful. Especially having to wait until 930 with a young child and then bring them to a disgusting room to sleep.

No advice on the website, only when you get to the hotel,, book this for my wife’s birthday!!!!!, VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
Included Breakfast was non existent, no water, no juice, no coffee, only a few bagels , and only a handful of hot items that were gone as soon as they put it on the hot flat top!!
Check in was supposed to be at 4pm, noooo!!!
The room wasn’t ready until 4:30PM!!!!!!!

Despite its reputable brand, my recent stay at Hyatt Place was disappointing. Prolonged check-in delays, cleanliness issues, and underwhelming amenities tarnished the experience. Expectations for a higher standard were not met.
Positives:
Breakfast wasn't great. Hard pancakesnone day and the first day they ran out of french toast sticks.

Room wasnt ready when arrived. Arrived hours after it should have been ready.

Had to wait an hour for my room to be ready. The room I finally received, the AC was not working. Took 37 minutes to get some assistance. Finally after a quick assessment, I received another room.
Breakfast was ok, but needs more people to help out in the Breakfast area. Holiday weekend, and low stock of food. That's not a good look for Hyatt.

Didn't stay. Checked in, took a shower and then looked out of the balcony to see no pool. Booking.com advertised a pool ready by March 30, 2024 which was not accurate info. Chose a room because we wanted a pool and staff said it is not their responsibility that we were misinformed. Got charged for a night that we didn't stay and checked into a better hotel.
