Lack of response to our needs, poor service, room lost power to light fixtures and outlets first night. Had to use our phones to get by in the dark. They changed the room from m 206 to 212 . Discovered after move the AC unit continually leaked water onto carpet no drainage, reported problem , they at front desk said will send maintenance up to check and fix. Came in that night was not fixed , carpet soaked , wider area than before, complained to to clerk at front desk said he can’t help until morning next day. My two friend sharing the room with us left for other accommodations refusing to continue to stay. My wife and I stayed the night having no where else to stay, under the deplorable conditions the water continues to spread live electrical conductor(wires) not in conduit hanging onto wet carpet risking of being electrocuted and the atrocious smell emitting from wet carpet. Morning before setting to to the event (a funeral of a relative) I stop at front desk to voice my concern ask what are they going to do about the situation in the room. I was met with lies and was to to leave the premises or they will call the sheriff to throw me out. This was around 10 am , my wife and I already dressed to attend funeral they said if I don’t leave by 11am they will throw our belongings out on the street, mind you I still have one more night stay already paid for. Now we have to go back up pack our bags ( we will be late for the funeral) returned the keys and leave. Most stressful stay ever. I hope goes up to the Wyndham Cooperate that owner should be penalized for running such an establishment that caters for the hospitality industry. Such a shame such an establishment is located in a state that depends on tourism .
