Great location close to a good variety of shops and local restaurants as well as beaches to enjoy the water and especially the sunset at Honeymoon Island State Park. Frenchy's Outpost across the street was great for seafood (I reccomend the crab fries & fire island tacos). Room was bigger than I expected and very clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. My significant other and I landed late & checked in at 2am without any hassle and the young lady at the desk even hooked us up with complicatary toothbrushes and toothpaste so we could just go straight to bed. First time I needed to use the key card to use the elevator past the lobby and I like that little bit extra security.
Negatives:
Stayed 6 nights total and was only checked on my the housekeepering staff once after the second night. She was great giving me extra towels, taking the used towels and emptying the trash cans. Had to call the front desk after night four to get housekeeping service again. However, once called the front desk took care of it within five minutes by a member of the management crew who then made sure that housekeeping spruced up the room fully the next day. To be fair they had three wedding parties & a funeral party their at the same time and were short staffed on housekeeping so, to be fair, they did a great job all things considered.
