A lot of unhoused in the direct vicinity of the hotel which when walking through to get back to the hotel could feel quite intimidating. Not the hotel’s fault at all, but something to be aware of.

The mattress is great! When I was able to sleep, it was pleasant. The breakfast was good and there was a woman with glasses who assisted with the breakfast and she was the THEE best part of this hotel. Her happy Outlook and positivity made our morning. Thank you!!!
The shower was nice with the water pressure but it wasn't the cleanest.
Negatives:
Saying that the location is terrible is an understatement. There were people laying on the ground, cracked out of their brains less than a block away. The elevators smelled like urine. The front desk staff was lackluster to say the least. I don't think I saw a smile from the staff except the woman taking my plate from breakfast.
We asked for an extra pillow because they are paper thin. I asked for them at the front desk. Almost 2 hrs later I called the front desk to ask again for them and it took another 30 mins and it was the middle of the day. They also send out texts asking how your stay is. I gave a 4 out of 5...I was feeling generous. They responded asking how to make it better. I asked for an extra blanket bc those are also paper thin. They asked my room number we had a text conversation back and forth and I never got the blanket. OH let's also mention that we were on the 15th floor and the freight train is directly below and it blows the train horn more times than a human blinks. It kept us up all night long. Even 15 floors up you hear the elements outside. You can also hear everything on the next wall over. The first night we had someone blasting music next to us and yelling like there was a party. Thankfully it wasn't ALL night.

We were not informed of the extra fee to park on site and I was charged an extra 64.00 for 2 cars. We confronted the manager and he gave us a discount but I felt they were unfair in not telling us about the extra charges. Also the hotel is located right past lots of homeless people and a soap kitchen that had in influx of people on the same street of the hotel. Not safe to walk alone.

The receptionist was very kind and sweet. She allowed me to check in early. The location is very close to bright line train station, which is good but also the only positive about the location. It's not in the best area.
