Definetely the location on the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking space. 2 chairs on the balcony.
Negatives:
In the hotel description it says the beach chairs and umbrellas are free but you have to pay on the beach. There's a discount for the hotel guests (I paid 34.00 for an umbrella and 2 chairs for the day). Breakfast was ok but far from good. The room was moisty and needed renovation. Towels are not changed and room cleaned everyday. For 4 people using the room that was not good. We had to use the chairs on the balcony to have dry towels the next day.

The buffet breakfast was good each morning. Everything was fresh. There was also fresh coffee, ice water and lemonade available daily.
The room was clean with the exception of the chairs on the balcony which had sand on them. Additionally there wasn’t a blow dryer in the bathroom.
There was easy access to the beach where chairs and umbrellas could be rented for the day.
Negatives:
The property didn’t accept cash which should have been noted in the details about the location.
The property charged my card a day in advance of my arrival which was unexpected since the booking.com site identified this location as one where I would pay for my stay when I arrived. There was no mention of the property requiring a days stay in advance. Further I wasn’t notified by the property that they would be doing that.

Right on the beach. Comfortable beds. Balcony, or "porch area," depending on whether on the 1st or 2nd floor. Close to restaurants and entertainment. Our room had a dehumidifier, which made an amazing difference...(daughter's room didn't have one).

Location is wonderful, breakfast is wonderful, we've stayed at hampton inn several times, we have been pleased with our stay ,we've always enjoyed our stay., we love hampton inn ❤️ in ft Walton and in Destin.

Facilities need to be upgraded, alot of the pool.loungers were torn up and couldn't use them , housecleaning didn't change the sheets or vacuum

My daughter got car sick and couldn’t make it to the bathroom when we first arrived. Unfortunately she threw up near the bathroom in the hallway and there was a house cleaning lady sweeping the flood and looked at me and said I’m not cleaning it up you can and went on with her day. I thought it was unprofessional and she didn’t offer to give me anything so I could clean it up myself. It wasn’t a welcoming experience and the place looked very rundown.
