We traveled 4 hours for work the next morning. After arriving and trying to check in I was told "WE CANCELED YOUR RESERVATION AND LEFT A VOICEMAIL." I ASKED WHY AND WAS TOLD; I THINK SOME KIND OF GLITCH OR SOMETHING." I checked my text and voicemail in front of the staff and nothing. I advised the staff we just traveled 4 hours its 9pm just give me another room please. I was told no more rooms. I left and tried at all the hotels the next two exits and nothing available. we drove all the way to Alachua Fl, nothing. The next morning, I called and asked to speak to management 4 times over 3 hours and each time the manager refused to speak with me. we spent the night at a rest area because I count find a room. the next morning had to attend work detail without having a shower or being able to change into clean clothes. When I got back home, I saw I was charged for the room they canceled on me because they overbooked. I made the booking 4 days before traveling. I called again two more times and still no Managment would speak with me. I've traveled all over the country and never had a hotel just cancel me? Before writing this, I tried one more time to speak with management the gentleman I spoke to and explained what happened just chuckled and said yeah sorry management is in a meet have a nice day. Had I been advised earlier before 9pm at the hotel I would have been able to book elsewhere. I'm still in shock they really didn't care and when someone asked to speak with management they didn't care to take one moment for me. Sad. I left my number for management to reach out to me 4 days since issue nothing.
