Professionalism of Manager!! I booked and paid in advance for two days. At the last minute before i checked in the coach to my sons basketball team sakd tournament was changed amd ending the sunday and not monday. Manager said since i booked thru a 3rd party for a cheaper rate. And not using them directly to book, they will not refund my day back to me. Then after she hung up, she charged my card for another $180.00. And i paid booking.com $463. 00 for 2 days to pay for room. Holiday inn should not have charged me anything.

Room was for people with mobility issues. My wife needs a wheelchair but the 2 queen beds don't have any room between them or the wall making navigation difficult. Access to the bathroom is blocked by the door opening outward.
The extra $10.00 "amenities" charge is a big turn-off. There are no extra amenities that I am aware of. If the charge is a "damage deposit" then say so. There was no receipt available at check out. The final bill was correct on my credit card at the end of the week but the whole experience was unpleasant.

The inconvenience of getting up at 4 am for a fire alarm and the gentleman that checked us in : he tried to overcharge us $100. I told him the price I was to pay and he said”oh that was the other guy” he did fix it though.
I asked if there was anything that he could compensate for the inconvenience of the fire alarm (which there was something cause I smelled it) but his response was “that the incentive was that the alarms worked”. No compassion or empathy. I understand he was just as inconvenienced as well but he didn’t have to grab all his luggage. Just not friendly at all

We encounter a cockroach upon arrival in the room. A big one. We brought this to attention first of front desk ( not Joseph) around 1 am and then during the day. In all occasions, the complaint was dismissed and we heard comments like : oh, you should know it is bug season", " well, so what", and oh, this kind of roach does not cause infestation. close your suitcase. Finding the roach was bad, but the attitude of the staff upon this issue was way worse. Also it was noisy for lack of insulation and difficult to sleep
