Negatives: Hotel lost power and fire alarm went off all night long. Our room was on the 5th floor so we had to carry tons of luggage down 5 flights of stairs and our special needs child. I have a heart condition so this was literally life threatening for me to do :(

Negatives: At no one’s fault, we lost power during the hurricane and the room became stuffy because the window would not open. I’m sure it was a safety thing because we were on the top floor.

Negatives: The power went out due to hurricane Helene, which understood that part of it. The hotel didn’t have a generator, charged surprising deposit and second pet deposit for each night. The night of the hurricane power went out, smoke alarms went off. I got the overnight lady to come to room and it was the battery. She couldn’t reach it I had to climb on the bed to unhook it for her, then the emergency exit doors beeped all night. There was people in and out all hours of the night setting it off and outside smoking drugs and loud as could be outside our window. There was nothing done; made complaints the next morning and was told nothing could be done as it was hurricane related. I am a regular dedicated guest through out the year, this was by far the worst stay anywhere I’ve ever stayed, including the Jacksonville location. I will be filing a complaint with corporate; as the morning lady was rude and snappy about my complaints and wouldn’t even refund us for one night: as all we had to deal with. Cold showers, no power, loud guest, alarms going off all night long. My child along with my husband and I had absolutely no sleep. I will not be returning as a guest again, will find other places to stay.

Negatives: The smoking areas are too close to the building. I'm a non-smoker and when someone is right outside the door smoking, I get a face full of smoke when walking in or out of the building. I noticed an envelope in the room I stayed in was for tipping the housekeeper. It seems to me that a tip would be for services provided. However, during the four nights I was there, no one came in to remove the trash. Fresh towels, which I did not need, were left, so why didn't they take the trash? Also, there was hair on the dresser and fingernail clipping on the floor. The shelf above the safe was dusty and the paint on the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling off. Why were the police at the hotel detaining someone and searching their vehicle?

Negatives: I am not a smoker so getting into the elevator after a smoker has been it is very prominent—particularly the smell of marijuana.

Negatives: The only thing was that there were no towels in my room! Upon my arrival.
