Negatives: Unbelievably over priced. Room was small and smelled

Negatives: Very close to the highway so you could hear and see traffic from our room.

Negatives: Nope, loved it.

Negatives: Overall we enjoyed our stay. There were just a a few things to mention however . One of the designated smoking areas is located near the pools tiki bar directly under a whole wing of guest rooms and patios. We appreciated this was a non smoking hotel when we booked and so having cigarette smoke and weed smoke coming up to our patio and often in the room we did not care for. I think it's just bad placement of the smoking area and could be rectified. Maybe they can move it away from the rooms somehow. The pool was closed during the day 3 days out of our 5 days there for maintenance but would open for a few hours one night and 1/2 day the next. When it did open, the tiki pool bar for drinks was closed. They did offer guests use of their sister hotel's pool down the road although they were not resort properties. The beach area was still open to use. When we expressed disappointment about the pool closure the management promptly offered us a credit of the resort fee for the 3 days the pool was down. This was very kind and although we appreciated it, we would have liked to have just enjoyed our vacation using the pool and bar as we had planned. We had some trouble with slow drains and the toilet had to be finagled to flush about 50% of the time. Management was made aware and quickly offered to come take a look but we did not want to have our room under repair for the short time we were there so we dealt with it fine until we left. It just is an older property and things like that happen. On our first two nights at the resort the neighboring rooms had some very late night owls that were on the balcony being very loud until after 2am. This in itself would be fine, we get hanging out and enjoying yourself however the layout of the rooms made it seem as though they were right on our balcony and yelling. The walls are very thin and made it difficult to sleep the first 2 nights until those guests checked out.

Negatives: Prices in the restaurant and bar

Negatives: Pool bar closed way too early, the food at Gus Grille was terriblethe lobster was dry, the shrimp tasted strange, the lettuce in the Caesar salad was brown and it was very pricey for thatthe food at Breezers Tiki Bar was much better and the drinks were great!

Negatives: High price and rooms need major updating

Negatives: They didnt change bedsheets after previous guests. Its disgusting!!! And all positive moments are gone with this!
