Room was nice. Not the couple staying next door to us. It was absolutely ridiculous. Kept us up from 1 am to 3 am. I'm not sure why the front did nothing about it. The couple downstairs was not happy about it either,.

The room. Its absolutely not worth what you pay for. One chair and a very tiny table for two people. The bathroom was not upgraded and had rust and corrosion everywhere. The door was awfulit would not close very well and it was a hassle to open. We didnt need housekeeping and we had our own toiletries, but they made us feel like they were put out when we asked for new towels. I mean towelsthis is a hassle for the property?

the room was nicely decorated, the proximity to everything was great and liked that it had a pool.
Negatives:
the staff wasnt friendly or overly helpful.
this is not a traditional kimpton with daily happy hour - you get a boozy welcome drink.
no one told us at check in we could use amenities at the other kimpton locations throughout key west.
we asked for a late check out, the kimpton website states IHG members can check out as late at 2 PM, hotel staff claimed never to have heard of such a thing.
bike rentals are available however the bikes are not on-site at the hotel. the hotel needs to contact the vendor to have them delivered, which can take up to an hour, so plan ahead.
this is an old building, on a busy street. road traffic and rooster cawing travel through the walls, doors and windows easily. there is no soundproofing, what so ever.

It was not as clean as I would have thought a Kimpton to be. Just not throughly cleaned, in corners of room and bathroom. Under bathroom sink. The beautiful chandelier at the door was so dusty.

The property was beautiful and even with the few issues I would absolutely stay there again!

Our room was located by the pool and had a private patio. The pool was generally quiet, there were always available chairs. The entire property was well kept and very cozy. Breakfast was included and was a nice surprise. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The room smelled like mildew and was damp. The air conditioning unit was loud and found it hard to sleep with it running.
