Hotel's front desk customer service agent was very pleasant and helpful in canceling her side of the reservation and she said they wouldn't charge bc we hadn't presented the cc.
Negatives:
The pet fees were not upfront it just said on the website that pets are welcome. So I had already booked the room online & canceled the room while I was on the phone with the hotel. She canceled it then and sent an email however booking.com still charged us $90. I have the cancelation email so I want a refund.

Not much! The breakfast was good but nowhere near the breakfast we had at a Comfort Inn in Asheville-in fact it was about 1/2 of the selection.
Negatives:
Our room smelled mildewed, in fact when we arrived the bathroom fan and the air conditioner were on! In addition there was a huge dehumidifier in the room and a smaller one under the sink, both running on high. All of the metal surfaces were rusty and/or corroded. This room should have never been rented out! We asked for a different room but were informed that they were sold out.
We talked to the manager about it and he seemed to shrug it off, saying that Florida was so humid. My husband’s lived in Florida his entire life and we’ve never had even a hundredth of a problem as this one room had. We were in room #102.

Renovations going on and we were unable to use the closest entrance to our room, which is important due to health issues! The coffee maker in our room did not work and the carafe in the lobby was empty!
