Positives: The room was clean.
Negatives: There was heavy police presence at the hotel along with a ambulance and a fire truck. The police were at the hotel for hours after the ambulance left with an injured person in it. The officers were in the lobby and on our floor knocking on doors. It made us very uneasy since no one would tell us if we were safe or not. The lack of communication from the establishment was very unsettling. The breakfast said it was included on the website but it was literally $15 per person. Needless to say we did not eat there. We did order dinner from the bar area and it was ridiculously over priced. They served it to us in Styrofoam containers that were literally bowing from the heat since they are not meant for hot food. They need to think about something else to put hot food into so they aren't poisoning their customers.

Positives: Lobby was fresh and clean
Negatives: When we arrived we were overcharged by $156. I didn’t not catch it as my husband checked us in. Once we were in room no tv remote, room smelled like paint and my husband told me price and I called about tv remote and price. Spoke to front desk to inquire about price and tv remote. The front desk personnel said that he needed to review the notes and they would get us a remote shortly. After reviewing notes he said we were overcharged and he would fix it. The maintenance man came to room and said that we were going to have switch rooms because the tv remotes are tv specific as well as Hilton programming so any remote will not work. Maintenance man said that the room was closed for renovations earlier and just got opened back up which would explain the paint smell. I called down to front desk and spoke to him again to ask about switching rooms did we need to go to front desk to get key or just meet them at room. Front desk personnel said why didn’t he just bring up a new remote….i advised him of what we were told and he said he didn’t know about switching us because his boss had some rooms blocked up and he would have to call. Meanwhile it’s been at least 30mins the maintenance guy comes back and tries new remote that did not work. He said he was going to have to just switch out tvs. After about 15 more mins we finally get another tv but he said that he would have to come back tomorrow to reprogram room number in corner. Tv read a different room number but we had tv. On check out day I noticed the charge on our card and it was not fixed was still same. I called front desk and spoke with female who said that she did not understand why we were charged higher rate, she knew about the $50 per night incidentals but that still didn’t add up to $156 more, she said it had to be the persons fault who checked us in. She said she has never seen this happen before. She said she would have her manager call when they got in later. We never got a call at all. Very disappointed!!!
