Negatives: They accidentally charged my card twice

Negatives: Not much to complain about.

Negatives: Housekeeping staff needs work. On my second night, I was returning from the gym on the first floor and while walking past the housekeeping space, a lady stormed out while yelling, "come talk to me when you can show more respect," at her coworkers/employees. I'm not sure if she was manager or coworker, but she stormed across the hall and slammed a door after hustling in to the room. There was a hair barrette in the middle of the floor outside of my room door that was there for my entire four day stay. Housekeeping came by my room one day at 5:30 pm and I told them I was good for the day. The next day, it appeared they came by earlier as my towels were replaced and trash was removed, however, they did not go in to the actual room portion to the bed. I found a syringe behind the couch that I reported to the front desk. They offered to switch my room, but I was fine where I was. Housekeeping never found it/moved the couch while I was there. On my last day, the hotel shop was sold out of laundry detergent. The hotel only has one washer and one dryer for the hotel, located on the 2nd floor. It cost $6 per load for wash and dry, but no detergent or dryer sheets were available for sale in the laundry room either. Luckily, another guest left a bottle on the washer for future guests. The night staff seemed to be short staffed as one lady was working the front desk, the bar, the restaurant, and, at one point, she was also going up to one of the rooms for something. Due to this, I witnessed frequent delays at the front desk while people were trying to get checked in or get other concerns addressed. Recommend hiring more staff.
