Pleasant surprise. The room was large, clean and spacious. Just in the center of Miami beach. Would love to stay there again.
Negatives:
not much. There is no reception and you need to go to the next door hotel to check in, but that was not clear or easy to find at first.

Positives:
The location was nice, close to the beach and nightlife. No parking onsite; had to pay $20 per night in a garage an 8 min walk away. The staff were friendly enough. The beds were comfy but the room itself was very plain.
Negatives:
We were re-assigned to this location after an incident with our other hotel's roof. We had booked a King suite with a pullout couch bed and when we got to this hotel, they just gave us a cramped double room with a broken lamp, the world's smallest table and one chair. The bathroom was "clean" but there were still issues with icky looking spots in corners, etc. Also, the shower curtain didn't reach the bottom of the shower so the whole floor got soaked (goodbye extra towels). The top floor bar was closed for repair or something... We were promised that the new hotel would have better amenities and was nicer... I can't say because we never got to the first hotel but I would imagine our room would have at least been nicer/larger/more private for my husband and I traveling with our adult daughter.

Tucked behind a lovely Italian restaurant. No front desk person but had to check it next door at La Flora which was fine.
Negatives:
No parking provided, and no overnight parking "deals". To park in the lot beside the hotel it was hourly and not a good deal. Unfortunately the municipal parking garage across the street was closed for construction so next nearest was a few blocks away. Not ideal
Also no ice maker - had to purchase from the corner store.

Positives:
It is a good location. But rooms don’t have TV,fridge and microwave. I never before saw rooms where you can’t store your food.
But the worse thing was that they few times charge my deposit and tell me that they can return it only at the end of my vacation even thought It was there mistake . I ask them if they can at least remove 28$ charge for the early check in and they decline it even they cause for me issues with my money availability for this vacation because of mistake what they did.
