Positives:
The room is decorative but space-wise, questionable.
Walkable to South Beach in 5 minutes.
The location is convenient for foodies and drug stores.
Their offer of two sunbeds on the beach is real.
Negatives:
Lobby: too small and too crowded by the restaurant to enter
Amenities: Treadmill malfunction, pool, and gym are quite smaller than the images.
Even though I signed up for early check-in, the hotel didn't provide such a thing.
The Family got red insect bites on the body after the first night's sleep. Not sure about bed bugs.
AC shoots directly to the second bed causing me to catch a cold and AC sounds absurdly lousy.

Great beach service, friendly staff, great room and very accomodating for a late check out and arranging car service. Overall Great service at an exceptional price.

Everything was fantastic but if you're looking for a good pool, it's not the best...but with great beach service available and the price, I think it's worth the compromise.

Positives:
Great location, near beach , shops, restaurants and cultural sights. Swimming pool a real bonus. Safe area for solo traveller.
Negatives:
No Tennis TV channel in the room, despite during my stay Miami was hosting a Masters 1000 tennis event, the hotel does not think it’s worth having this available for their international guests and tennis fans to watch. This tennis tournament is show casing Miami and I think the hotel has made a big mistake not having Tennis TV available.
The stained carpet in my room was rather a disappointment, gives the impression that no one cares about the rooms appearance.
The extractor in my bathroom area sounded like a diesel engine when the light was turned on, I called front desk who sent an engineer up, he had to get a step ladder and disconnect something, I had only been in the room for 10 mins. Someone really should walk through and make sure the rooms are checked before guests arrive. Further repairs were completed the following morning, but a note or goodwill gesture from management to apologise and acknowledge the inconvenience would have been welcome.
