Positives:
The location on south beach is good - you’re close to ocean drive and other trendy restaurants are walking distance. There are lots of places to see in Miami , so this location is one of many that are worth exploring
Negatives:
The rooms are very basic for the price. We also didn’t have a balcony. If you’re wanting to stay on south beach , it’s a passable option. The staff were friendly enough but not overly helpful or knowledgeable about the area.

This was nothing like a 5-star hotel. Shower was just a hole in the floor and a curtain. Not as advertised! The toilet was clogged. No toiletries. This is not what you pay $400/night for. Breakfast was not included. It might have been a 5-star in the 1980s, but not it only deserves 3 starts. Very disappointing.

Fantastic hotel with excellent staff and spacious rooms, which is rare for Miami. My room was exceptionally large, and the service was outstanding throughout my stay. This is the only place I’d choose to stay in Miami, and I would definitely come back again!

Pool was beautiful and decor throughout the hotel was lovely. Room was very clean and comfortable with a very nice balcony.
Staff…the staff here are amazing. Anthony when we checked in was a star. Bar staff friendly and fun to be around. Everyone working here made us fell like they were happy we were actually there!

Thing I didn’t like was that I didn’t stay long enough!

Tha bungalow pool was cold and not very clean. The roof terrace was home for some pigeons and we couldn"t use it because it was dirty.

Good hotel considering the ridiculous prices in south beach - they’re many other hotels that cost the same and don’t have the same standard
Negatives:
My expectations about hotel in the US are very low so I was pleasantly surprised about the kimpton - it was really good (the restaurant that serves breakfast though is not great but so are the rest of south beach restaurants) - best take an uber and eat in downtown Miami

-no valet upon arrival was told they were short staffed. Had to street park at two locations and pay more money than valet. Hotel staff didn’t care, just explained they had a rush and one driver. Didn’t offer any options or help.
-had king suite with pull out bed, wasn’t aware the pull out would leave no floor space to walk. Had to walk on and over the main bed to get to the door and around the room.
