I’ve always liked to stay at Oceanside hotel. The standard room doesn’t have any coffee maker or microwave thought. And also, as a courtesy, it would be nice 1 ou 2 bottles of water in the mini fridge, at least, for the first night.
Negatives:
This time I didn’t have luck with my room, because the bathroom got very wet on the floor, due to a problem in the glass door of the shower, it’s leaking all the water when you take a shower. Repair is really needed as soon as possible. (Room 1110)

Lovely, clean hotel , modern rooms and big enough. I read many bad reviews and was a bit hesitant in the beginning, but all went well! The staff very helpful and very friendly!
Ok, the pool is tiny , but nowhere is written that the hotel has a massive pool !!!! We paid a very low rate and that was fantastic!!!! Definitely going back again with the first chance !

Listen I’m not sure why there’s so many bad reviews about this hotel and its staff! Yes Monica is exceptional, but, the rest of the staff from 5/29 @ 8pm when I checked in, I didn’t get his name but he was very kind and welcoming. I stayed until 6/1 and everyone I came into contact with was AWESOME!
Negatives:
The location was great but I recommend that when you book here do not DRIVE!! It is close to everything where you can literally walk or catch a Lyft for under 15 dollars. The hotel also doesn’t say Oceanside on it, it says Monticello on the building! You will find yourself going in circles lol but once in you’ll see that this hotel is a hidden gem. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, I didn’t see not one roach and yes there is a smell in the hallway but my room didn’t smell at all.

I had a great stay. I was unexpectedly upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite which was lovely. Had everything I needed to cook & chill & the free tram bus stop to South Beach was just across the road. And the beach, 2 blocks away. Staff were helpful & friendly too.

“The suite I stayed in was filthy, with stained floors and dirty linens. It was evident that the housekeeping staff had not properly cleaned before my arrival. One of the employees went to my room when I was out yo clean up the mess they had and my gold chain and a perfume disappeared.....
Spoke to Sack the general manager who apologized and for the inconvenience offered me a $25 free dinner Also told me he was busy and not sure if the cameras were working so as soon as he will find time he will go throw cameras

Rude front desk staff. The hotel did not have Wifi. No telephone in the room. No phone signal. The front desk didn't even say sorry for the inconvenience. Instead he said oh you can come sit at the lobby and use your phone data!!

The rooms are old, have maintenance problems beds in poor condition and paint walls, have a noisy air conditioner.
They don't have parking, they have to leave their car in public parking at 300 meters.
The rooms on the second level do not have a lift, they must climb luggage up the stairs.
Forget about the deposit soon, they don't respond, only through booking could I get my money back.
