The location is very convenient, being close to Ocean Drive, restaurants, bars, and the beach.
Negatives:
I felt a bit unsafe as a solo traveler since the hotel I booked did not have its own reception, and check-in had to be done at a different hotel across the street. This meant that anyone could enter the hotel without any restrictions.

Location was great. Very close to the beach, pretty much in the middle of the strip.
Negatives:
The hotel is old and needs to be upgraded. The locks do not function properly. I had to swipe my key card 10-15 times to get it open. I spoke to another guest, and they had the same problem. So bad they had to switch rooms. There were a lot of flying bugs/ beetle insects. Mainly in the bathroom, but I started to see them everywhere by the end of my stay. They do not have a front desk in the building. You have to go across the street for assistance. It is no good if you have any type of health condition and are staying alone. So imagine if you are locked out of your room on the top floor. Oh, and no elevator, so pack light.

Positives:
The location was great, basically it was close to everything, and most important the beach. They had plenty of shampoo and conditoner which was great, also lotion! The clean lady was great handing us some extra towels and toilet paper...thank god we saw her, but didn't clean our room during our stay and that was a big deal for us since we would come back from the beach full of sand....the garbage can was small so we had to use extra bags to throw stuff away.
Negatives:
When you want to do the check in make sure you go to the Chester hotel first which I didn't know, so nobody is there helping. I didn't like that it didn't have an elevator, and travelling with kids and strollers in a second floor was a challenge, the rooms were small, no microwave, the fridge was also pretty small, and an outdated bathroom (small too). At night the main entrance turns into a bar so there is lot of people going in and out drunk, and lot of yelling at night. It didn't feel safe at all!. Definitely not a hotel for a family only single people that wants to party and doesn't care about anything else.

Hotel staff was rude, the check in process is stupid, no hot water, it took at least 20 times swiping to open the door at any time, my room was slanting and it felt like I was walking in a whole the entire time and the bathrooms were small and dated.

I didn’t like that the hot water was not hot but one time at night when we took our showers. I also didn’t like the fact that our toilet had stopped up 3 times during our stay. Lastly the halls smelled like mildew.

We had no hot water for 3 of the 4 days there. No one picked up at the front desk at all when called. Had to go across the street to speak with someone about the water being cold not Luke warm but cold! I requested the manager to call me,left my personal number and no response. Unsecured astablisment which is a hazard to anyone who stays there. Terrible place and I'd never refer anyone.
