Positives:
The property is within walking distance to pretty much everything you would need. Food, souvenirs, the beach, landmarks, Walgreen's/CVS, pretty much everything. The staff is helpful and you get a lot of perks just for staying there. Daily umbrella and chairs on a private beach, credits toward bike rentals, and other stuff that we didn't use but sounded pretty good. The rooms are decent with comfortable beds and good features. The rooftop view was fair and nice to hang out on in the evenings.
Negatives:
It was a little complicated to connect to the wifi, but it was there and was good when you got connected. There was a hot tub/pool thing that was cute, but kind of small. But the beach is right there, so... The restaurant was a little pricey and the food was mid, but you don't have to eat there so just go somewhere else. There are a lot of restaurants that are within walking distance anyways.

Looks exactly like the photos, loved the bathroom and shower, perfect location to the beach and restaurants!! Happy hour was also fantastic when getting ready for dinner

There was no overhead light in our room and the room faced the street so we kept the blinds closed. But honestly did not matter too much

I paid an extra $235 for breakfast for 4 days and it only came with toast OR croissant, fruit, tea, coffee or juice. The hotel has 2 different sides, the first side they put us on, the tv did not work in our room. The main desk changed our room directly below the first room and that tv was not working as well. We informed the front desk and they responded with we'll try to have maintenance fix it in the morning. Maintenance never came up or fixed the issue. I informed the front desk that we were unhappy about that. They put us in a 3rd room on the other side of the building. The room was not that clean and the ceiling was horrible. The windows were filthy. Then it was though the front staff was upset with us for expressing our feelings about our stay. All in all, I would NOT stay there again or recommend.

The Balfour was a beautiful hotel!! We loved our stay- we were given a complimentary drinks voucher and also had access to refreshing drinks in the lobby at all times for our convenience. The hotel was a short walk from great restaurants like carbone, and was also a 5-10 minute walk from Miami Beach. All in all I would stay here again!

The hotel was beautiful! It is situated in a great location to just walk across the street to the beach. The views from the rooftop were nice too! The drinks and burger was delicious! The pool is a bit small, but we'll maintained. The room was a little tight for 4 people and the bathroom was pretty small, but it was clean. We would stay here again.

Just very aged. Huge stain on carpet on the 3rd floor coming off the elevator so that was our first impression. We had problems with the TV in our room. The engineer figured it out but still should have been easier. The common areas were generally clean and nice. Just stupid little things like no Diet beverage carried at the bar was an annoyance. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very cramped. They were very nice to permit an early checkin and the staff was nice. We did not use the restaurant. With a little freshening up it could be much nicer.

Fantastic location. Free use of bikes for 2 hours, which allowed us to explore more of Miami Beach.

The room wasn't as big as we were expecting but it was fine for one night. The bathroom was very small but nicely decorated.
Hallway carpets showed signs of age.
Overall, it isn't worth 500 USD for one night.
