We only used the concierge service once to book an Everglades tour, which they ended up booking for the wrong day and the wrong number of people (despite us being there with him at time of booking!) In the end the alternative day and additional people on the booking worked

Excellent location in the heart of the Art Deco district of South Beach. Lovely roof top pool. Lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance.
Negatives:
Our room (family suite) had limited storage for clothes and luggage. But was manageable for three nights, would be cramped for a longer stay.

The location is perfect and the staff are charming. We would have rated everything as high as possible if not for the lack of cleaning in some areas. Particularly the pool area. Food and drink stains still stuck to the floor for days.

Positives:
The Betsy Hotel is an elegant place which ushers you back to classic Miami. Our room was the Royal Ocean View Suite which was spacious, very comfortable and well appointed with toiletries and refills of bottled water daily. The hotel has a lovely downstairs bar and inviting lounge area and the hotel is walking distance to shops and many other restaurants. The staff at The Betsy is wonderful; all very accommodating and pleasant.
Negatives:
While our room, the Royal Ocean View Suite, was absolutely beautiful, we found that it was also a bit noisy, especially at night. Our room was directly over the bar/lounge and outside porch areas of the hotel. Therefore, the lounge music and people-gathering on the porch filtered its way to our room, sometimes till 2:30 am. We also had the added inconvenience of a small dog in the room adjacent to ours. When the dog owners left the dog alone in the room, the dog barked continuously....thankfully it was in the daytime.
The hotel staff; however, were quick to respond to our complaints and made an accommodation for us that satisfied our concerns and made our overall stay wonderful!

The rooms and interior is a bit dated/old, the AC is relatively weak and the rooms and gym didn’t seem super clean

Positives:
Fabulous boutique style hotel with a retro feel perfectly suited to the area. Staff were excellent and helpful. Live piano every day added wonderful ambience and our suite was comfortable and spacious enough. It was a short walking distance to excellent eateries of all cuisines.
Negatives:
Windows overlooking the street could have done with double glazing to reduce noise a bit.
