Positives:
Superb location close to the airport. We were just using the Aloft as our night before our flight to the Caribbean. Our incoming flight arrived late but the hotel sent an Uber for us and it arrived within 10 mintues. (no cost to us) Quick 10 minute drive to Aloft. Easy check in, spacious room, comfy bed. Almost made me want to stay longer. Next morning, Aloft sent us to the airport in an Uber. (again no cost to us). Great place to stay!!

Roomy, clean, comfortable and close to MIA Int'l. Highly recommend!

Overall room was nice. Shower head was horrible and even with it aimed (by the hotel) at the wall water got out all over. When will hotels learn to install lighted makeup mirrors! Pillows hard.
Negatives:
I did not get the room I reserved. I assume this was due that I checked in at 12:30. They had told me when the reservation was made they may not be able to honor the request, but did not tell me or adjust rate when I checked in and I was too tired to complain at that time. Having worked in the hotel business, it is not that hard with check out time being 11:00 to accommodate these requests.
