About This Property

The Extended Stay America Miami is 10 minutes’ drive from Miami International Airport and the Art Deco District is 12 miles away. This hotel has an outdoor pool. Free grab-and-go breakfast including breakfast bars, muffins, hot cereal, coffee and tea is served every morning. Weekly housekeeping services are provided for free and daily provided for a fee. Towels and linen can be exchanged at the front desk. Every room is equipped with a kitchenette that includes a refrigerator and microwave. Positives: The staff was friendly…when you could find them. The price was much cheaper than the other hotels nearby…for a reason.

Negatives: Overall this place is terrible. It’s a cheap dump. The undermanned staff is never at the front desk. No one answers the phone and no one is there at the desk. The carpets are filthy. The customers leave bags of trash outside their room doors and it sits for an entire day before someone picks it up. The “breakfast” is literally only breakfast bars and terrible muffins and the coffee dispenser is always empty. At night it’s loud and you can’t sleep with people partying in their rooms. There is no hot water in the shower. I would never consider staying here ever again even if it was free. It was literally the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my 57 years of life.

Positives: Rooms ok

Negatives: Bad smell in my room, my deposit was never returned back, even though i was told should be returned upon checkout. Reception stuff ordered me probably most expensive taxi : We payed each 40$ (2 customers), price is 20$ with yellow cab. Plus we had to wait over 45 minutes for a taxi despite we ordered taxi at exact time (almost missed the flights) .. This place never again, terrible mis-management, which is shame because rooms are decent.

Positives: Rooms were large, with cooking facilities if needed, very clean and beds comfortable. Was booked last minute due to being scammed from previous accommodation booked. Location near the airport and was perfect just to have somewhere to put our heads down for 1 night before we went on a cruise. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Negatives: It stated that breakfast was included, breakfast was just muffins and granola bars which isn’t really what I was expecting so a little disappointing.
