Kimpton EPIC Hotel an IHG Hotel

Negatives: The room was so tiny for a 1 bedroom it was flies all inside the room when I get back it was like 8 dead ones in my cup All the food was nasty the room service breakfast and lunch.

Negatives: The pool closes early.

Negatives: no very good cleaning

Negatives: It’s not worth it. I do not recommend this place. Melissa offered horrible customer service. They over charged 81.00 for room service we never received. They had the audacity to blame me for not receiving the food, when it took over an hour to deliver a pizza and wings. The next day we called to complain saying we never got our food. We were told not to worry about it and they will remove it. That wasn’t the case. We were LIED to. And it is a violation of their policy to charge for services not signed for. After rigorous back and forth with Melissa she she declined to offer a resolution. We were robbed of 81.00 for something we did not sign for, we did not consume, and we NEVER received. When asked about where the food is she shrugged o don’t know but I doubt you would want it the next day. They charge a resort fee… but there is NO RESORT. They have a pool. That’s it. Overall it’s not worth they hype or the money. Save your money and go to a more worthy, customer driven hotel with better amenities. Melissa does not have any customer service skills and the valet lady was RUDE and be sure to call ahead valet 20-30 minutes to retrieve your car. No slippers in the room. No Robes in the room. uncomfortable small pillows and beds. (who does full size beds anymore) I woke up several times throughout the night in discomfort. The blankets were very thin, not plush at all and were more like a mear sheet. They offer free rose at social hour but it was so cheap and disgusting, I was not able to drink my glass. This is not a 5 start resort. Also, I paid for water views and received a pool view. When I called down to complain upon entering the room the lady tried to convince me it is a water view. I explained I can’t see the water, I only see the pool. I explained I didn’t pay for a pool view, I paid for a water view. She claimed that’s is the water view. After some back and forth she reluctantly offered to move my room the next day which was another huge inconvenience.

Negatives: The beds in the double room are small and there could be more privacy in the toilet.

Negatives: My balcony door didn’t lock had an Issue

Negatives: (1) The surly housekeeping staff. (2) My suite was not cleaned on two different days despite tipping the housekeeper. (3) The absence of ‘Turn Down Service’ even as an option.

Negatives: the room wasn’t completely clean when we got there. we called down to the front desk a couple of times and they were quite rude even at our simply questions. we were not made aware of how expensive the security deposit was. also it would have been nice to have had a microwave for food purposes.

Negatives: The food was excellent at Area 31 but would have liked just a little more choice on the food menu at dinner. Charging $10 for a bottle of water in your room! What happened to the bottle of water a day in your resort fee charge seems since covid hotels I have visited recently have removed the “complimentary” bottle water bottle.
