Best Western Plus Palm Beach Gardens Hotel & Suites and Conferen

Negatives: This hotel does not look like the photos displayed. It’s filthy, and unkept. This hotel could be great if the investors would put a little money into this place, but greed!! We came to this hotel because we were desperate running from Hurricane Milton and they charged us for the third night of stay even though we had to leave to get back to our house. That’s price gouging!! Nobody is happy with that and I’d not stay here again under those circumstances. We ended up with ants all over and inside our car … still trying to get rid of the ants!! They need to spray inside and outside of this hotel for bugs!!

Negatives: First room #120 had a bad water leak which dripped down into my totes containing my clothes which had to be washed. Spent $40 washing them, no reimbursement or compensation. Room was switched to room #119 which had a huge crack in the base of the toilet and the smell was ungodly. We were then transferred to room #122 which has a major cockroach infestation. On our next reservation we were switched to room #121 which also had roaches and an extremely dirty uncomfortable sleeper sofa and no water pressure at the sink. The curtains were falling down off the railing. We then transferred back to room #119 because the toilet was replaced however the roaches were still running rampid. There is also a major leak and the hallway carpet just outside of these room stays soaked so to get to the lobby you have to squish through it. The sour smell is awful. After paying high rates and dealing with all of the issues we were then denied renewing our room during the Milton Hurricane, we were told the hotel was fully booked then told there were 2 rooms left but not the room we were currently in and if we wanted a room the rate was $270 for one night. No way was I going to pay that much when just the day before the website showed a rate of $135. That is price gouging and was reported to the State Attorney. We departed and were forced to spend the night in a rented van in a parking lot. The breakfast is terrible too! Inedible eggs and soggy undercooked sausage that floats in oily water. It’s literally the same thing every single day. In the 2 months we stayed they served bacon once and it too was way undercooked and had to be microwaved to be edible. The elderly front desk agent refused to give more than one roll of toilet paper at a time so we had to make daily trips for a new roll. One day I needed $1.25 in quarters to start a load of laundry. Negatives: I thought that it was a very well-kept property. The room itself had a funny smell to it and had a humidifier in the room that looked like it wasn’t really operational. The air was kind of stuffy and had to smell to it and it looked like it was a full humidifier so it needed something to operate. Everything looked clean in the room.
