I checked in at 10 p.m., made the payment, and went to sleep. The room looked clean at first. However, at 1 a.m. I felt something crawling on me – it was a cockroach. I killed it, turned on the light, and found another one on the wall and two more on the floor right next to the bed, near my slippers.
I immediately called Booking.com to request a refund and informed them that I was checking out. When I went to the reception to explain that the reason was cockroaches, I received neither an apology nor any assurance of a refund.
Unfortunately, I was told that I would not get my money back for such a terrible experience. A cockroach could have even crawled into my ear while I was asleep.
The hotel should at least warn guests that they have such unpleasant issues.

There was so much mold in the first room that they moved us to another room. The front desk person did not ask any questions and just moved us to another room.It wasn't much better. It was just not as visible as they had put more paint on it in the second room. The room was damp.The bathroom tub/shower had mold all around the edges along with the base boards.. This place needs to be remediated before someone becomes seriously ill. The smell was horrible.. The pool looked nice, although we did not use it. What a horrible experience.
