The layout of the room was interesting and nice, with more space between the ac unit and the beds. The value was also pretty great.
Negatives:
For a new renovation, it was a shoddy job. A hole in the back of the counter, molding not finished, just a general unprofessional look. But it didn't affect the comfort, just the feel of the stay. Smell also was a bit odd, maybe very heavy on chemicals? I'm not sure. They also apparently just changed companies bc the sign said Best Western so we were very confused at first.

Positives:
The pool area looked okay, but we never used it. The location wasn't good, and we didn't feel safe. There were people smoking outside of their rooms, and we didn't like breathing it in when we were walking into the lobby.
Negatives:
The location wasn't great for visiting our child at UCF. Our room wasn't nice, and we felt unsafe at night being close to an interstate. We needed to leave a $100 security deposit for any potential damage to the room, and there was nothing nice in our room except for maybe the tv. We thought the hotel probably dealt with unscrupulous people in the past who stole items from rooms. My bed sheet had a large hole in it, the shower was old and decrepit and there was a large gap under the door where we had to place a bath towel so we didn't get unexpected insects or geckos, etc at night. The lobby and breakfast area were okay, but the decor was lacking, and both televisions were not plugged in. The gentleman at the desk indicated that this hotel is under new management, and they're trying to update it. In its current condition, I would not stay here, and we will definitely not return here again.
