My flight was cancelled so I tired to inform the hotel to not cancel my booking, but it was impossible to communicate. Upon arrival nor when check out, no explanation was given how much my bill was going to be, "it will be emailed and correct amount will be deducted from your card". I was shocked to out $220 was deducted from my card for cancellation fee, and over $900 was charged for my 3 nights stay, which is more expensive than my 4 nights stay that I initially planned. The eventual cost is not an issue, but I don't appreciate no communication.
I will definitely stay away from this property in the future. With $300 per night, I would have been able to stay somewhere better with nicer breakfast. The sending the template message for whatever questions I asked is too poor customer service. "Hello there, thank you for reaching out. I can add that note to your reservation. Take care"

Comfortable, good sized rooms. Clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was quiet
Negatives:
Breakfast wasn't great, but standard inclusive American breakfast - think fast food rather than freshly cooked. My main complaint is the use of paper plates and plastic cutlery.
