Positives:
The facilities definitely show their age which we liked because it felt like a nostalgic 90s resort for us which almost felt like a movie set. Some people may not enjoy that, but we did! The courtyard near the pool was a great outdoor option to have breakfast, and we liked the different coffee options. Great hot water and water pressure for being an old facility, and of course great location. Also the staff was soooo nice, from desk staff to cleaning staff they were all so friendly!! Hotel was also very quiet for being so crowded.
Negatives:
For the nightly rate and compared to our other LaQuinta experiences, this breakfast was pretty disappointing. There were zero healthy options other than your generic apple/banana/orange. Lots of pastries, waffles and sugary cereals were the main foods, where in other LaQuintas we stayed at asking our route had hot breakfasts with some type of eggs, sausage, biscuits, potatoes, etc. There were some low quality yogurts and boiled eggs in a tub…just not our other experiences. Also everything for breakfast was styrofoam containers versus paper like other LaQuintas…can’t imagine the trash/waste! Our bed itself was constantly but our pillows were pretty bad and the bedding seemed really old.

The location was great. It's right across the street from Icon Park.
Negatives:
It's a run down hotel for sure. Very outdated and in need of some TLC. The elevator sounds like it may break down any minute. We used it the first time going to the room, then the stairs the rest of the trip since it didn't sound safe. The hallways have a strange smell. For the room, the bathroom door didn't close without slamming it shut. The shower looked like it was not cleaned from the prior guest. The beds were ok at first. But after laying down, both sunk in the middle. WiFi was non-existent. Breakfast was ok, but there definitely were not enough options or space for the amount of people.
