The Birdies Cafe was amazing. Their staff were great people and the food was always of the highest standard.
Negatives:
Althought his was a very beautiful place there were unfortunately hidden costs! Booking.com price was $1045 and when we received our final bill it was $800 more than that! There were a lot of hidden charges that were not apparent immediately. A room Levy and tax on top of the room rate. Booking.com should make people aware of the actual cost. This has never happened to me before so you can imagine my horror when I received the final bill. Not impressed.

Location and room is great. Has really gone down hill the past few years. Not worthy of a 5 star rating

Pool area open to the public basically on a holiday weekend. Looked like a scene out of hangover the day after. Trash cans still full. Dirty deck with drink glasses and old towels. No staff available to get new towels until almost 10AM

The decor and location was very good

Some of the staff were rude (check in), very rule based and not customer friendly….this is what this means….do you understand? . Could not get in the bar after the golf as it was too busy. I paid $1700 for two nights and was not allowed to drink at the bar even though I had a wrist band proving I stayed there and many many people did not have wrist bands. Security were rude too.
