The resort was under construction. We were informed by email the day before. Bar and restaurant were closed. No room service. The service and breakfast was cold and terrible. No cutlery was given on time or even syrup, salt and pepper, etc. The room was not so clean. The sliding door was difficult to open. It was not a pleasant stay for us. My partner came from Illinois for his birthday and it was sad what we experienced. We were hoping for a beautiful and romantic experience. I would like some type of reimbursement. Other couples that were at breakfast also was complaining. The waitress was terrible. Couples checking in were also disappointed.

The property was really nice and the location perfect and convenient. Hotel staff was friendly and quick to respond with questions and concerns.
Negatives:
Our only issue with the hotel was it seemed dirty everywhere. The bathroom and pool were dingy. The balcony of our room was covered in ants and the furniture was gross. A little paint could help a lot.

The staff was extremely pleasant. The location on the beach was perfect.

We had no hot water for the duration of our stay. The air conditioning kept shutting down. I booked the room because it was oceanfront but we had to hang over the balcony and look sideways to get a glimpse of the ocean.

after a long ride I was disappointed I couldn't get an early ck in , the Man at the front desk was super rude, he was so nervous his hands were shaking when I asked him questions he was RUDE & even my son got nervous. Not child friendly hotel

It definitely could have been cleaner. Our shower wasnt clean. We had holes in our sheets. Our keurig didnt work our whole stay. We told the front twice. They kept saying theyd send someone to bring a new one. We then had to pay for coffee since ours didnt work.
