Negatives: Pool was clean but small and in disarray.

Negatives: Bathroom: We had no hot water. My son made it through a cold rinse off before the water turned ice cold & had to get out. We had to wet the two towels we had in our room for sponge baths. The bath faucet had a large, sharp, rusted gap between it & the wall. The hot/cold handle was backwards from what we could tell by the cold water turning even colder when turned to hot. Several dead bugs lay behind the toilet. Room: We had no electricity on the headboard wall, so the phone & alarm clock didnt work. Nowhere to charge a phone close by. There were crumbs in the bed & no sheets or pillows on the sofa bed, just a bare dirty mattress. The hallway & our room had visibly dirty carpets. There was a leather window seat that had something sticky spilled on it. Food(?) splatter & dirt all over the walls of the room. Staff: When I called management about the hot water, she came up & offered letting our family of 5 use a room that was booked, but the guests hadnt arrived yet. I said, What if they show up?. She said if we hurry maybe well have enough time. When I said I didnt feel comfortable with that she offered to instead let us trade rooms with the guests who hadnt yet arrived. I reminded her that our room didnt have hot water. Her logic was that maybe those guests wouldnt need to take a shower. She was insistent that I come look at the other room & I did only because I wanted her out of my room where our baby was sleeping. After seeing the room, I declined switching because of white stains splattered all over the sofa & a strong odor of smoke. She kept asking Do you agree this is ok now? As nothing was solved, I said no & asked her to imagine how she would feel staying in a dirty room with no hot water, or one with stains all over the furniture. She said, How much did you pay to stay here? This is a Microtel and you get what you pay for. True, some things dont work, but you still have a place sleep.

Negatives: Hair dryer did not work which was needed to get ready to attend my nephews wedding. At 6:30am I reported to front desk they assured me they would send one to me. After numerous reminders no hairdryer. 1pm went and bought a hairdryer. After my shower I was drying myself and putting on lotion i noticed the bottom of my feet were dirty from the dirty floor.. the elevator didn't work off and on. I am a senior citizen with lower back pain and neuropathy in my feet and ankle problems. I had to go down 3 flights of stairs several times during my stay. Staff was not attentive at all. They seemed overwhelmed. Overall they stay was not working for us WE WILL NOT STAY THERE EVER AGAINUNACC
