Embassy Suites By Hilton Panama City Beach Resort

Negatives: The staff were rude They messed up our incidentals deposit and tried to over charge us! We then found out they had another card that did not belong to us under our reservation. The valet boys were awful! When we arrived we were struggling with our bags and the boys outside said we could carry our luggage ourselves. Throughout the stay we noticed they were helping everyone else. The pool area at night was so loud and noisy we actually complained and was told the music would be off earlier tonight but in fact went on until 11pm. It also starts at 8am so don’t think about having an early night or a lay in. I didn’t like the fact that we felt obligated to tip in order to get a good service. Every time you went to the bar you was expected to tip even though you’re doing the leg work. The food was awful and did not taste good! They have a little shop in the hotel and although it’s convenient it’s very expensive! $7 for a bottle of water and $4 for a small pack of walkers crisps. We have very loud people above us banging all night long! I actually thought they would come through the ceiling. I mentioned it to the reception staff and they said well let’s hope it sorts its self out. Overall this was not up to Hilton standard and for the money I paid the service and value for money was poor.

Negatives: The loud wedding party above our room,on two different occasions

Negatives: just kind of expensive but it’s a great stay and right across from the beach so worth it imo.

Negatives: The hotel is amazing but needs to be cleansed. Common areas smell very bad and it’s not clean at all

Negatives: Carleton first floor was extremely in need to cleaning, we were in the second floor and it could use a cleaning too. Smelled nice. But never seen anyone wiping down. Didn't like we have two pit mix under our floor so when we set outside on the deck flea bits barking and security had to come address. We had a gulf view and it was actually a pool view. Being kn second floor for a gulf view is impossible when your room is facing the pool and your that low to the ground lol we said extra for gulf view and got a siting of it thru the pool view area. You could hear everything at the pool when you tried to set out and relax. Impossible. Passed the manager in the hall twice and she'd literally out of all her staff and maintenance crews was the least friendly. During our stay. The alarm went off advising there was an emergency to vacate the hotel etc etc it just was nonsense
