Days Inn by Wyndham Pensacola West

Negatives: The floors were not mopped (even after a shower your feet would get dirty just walking from the bathroom to the bed). The bathtub/shower need replacing (I put a hand towel in the tub to stand on while showering because the tub did not appear clean).

Negatives: Asked for no smoking room on booking, confirmation receipt read “smoking room” ..upon check in I discussed the mix up with receptionist and she offered to change our room to a nonsmoking room which we agreed. The room we ended up in (although there were no smoking signs visible) had a pungent and distinct smells of long term cigarette use. There was hairs in the bathtub Floors were extremely dirty (turned feet black) Landline phone inside room did not work and there were only two towels when in my reservation I made it for 3 people one toddler. When I sent a text through the automated service the receptionist immediately called back and offered to give us a different room right away. We however were no longer at the hotel and chose to stay in the original “nonsmoking” room since it was only for a night. I appreciate the night clerks receptiveness to accommodate us. I really just wanted to share the condition of the room we arrived to as to ensure I would not be charged for the previously existing smell of smoke. She was the kindness and most active person I saw working the entire time. Morning of check out service was less to be desired, seemed like the lobby was crowded with people in need of help or direction. I would stay here by myself however I would not book this place as somewhere to host my loved ones again.

Negatives: NASTY

Negatives: The TV when you turn it on always starts the volume at 100, full blast. But that is my only complaint. But I can live with it. All ya gotta do is turn it down.

Negatives: Breakfast is only a donut and coffee. Couldn’t get the shower to work correctly. Either it was too cold or extremely hot and told someone in office and never got it fixed in the 2 days that we were there. Location is not a good spot. There were people out all night. Playing music. Kids running late night/early morning. Might be some people on drugs around these parts. They were unorganized. Went to pay for another night and right after I get back to my room someone knocks on the door and ask if we were staying or not. Took all day to get more towels. We had been gone and came back and still there were no clean towels anywhere. Had to stop a maintenance and ask can he get us some and he did. Oh yea and one night we saw a live roach crawling on the floor. Thank God it was only that one. We left the next

Negatives: The shower was either extremely cold or hot. There was no middle ground so it was either take a freezing cold shower or take a shower from the depths of hell, and I like HOT showers. The elevator was kinda sketchy since when we first arrived and attempted to go to our room the doors opened randomly while we were going up and it tried to stop in-between floors. We didn’t want to risk a second time so we stuck to the stairs.

Negatives: Nothing was as stated there as it was on booking site. Also not listed was a cash deposit of $50. to stay. The person in your room did not leave so they were giving us a room not like we had reserved. Also when coming in to register it felt like a day care with different people coming in and out dropping off kids.

Negatives: What I didn’t like about the property well for starters, they put me in room 105. We got a late check-in so by the time we got comfortable got in the bed before we turn the lights out we saw something moving on the table cockroaches everywhere so I call the office and they’re like, there’s cockroaches in here and I got one trapped under a bottle if you want to see it and the lady you like oh no I believe you this happened and I was like well. I don’t want this room. She’s like OK I’ll move your rooms and she moved me to room 242 but before that before we saw the cockroaches, we took her shoes off to walk around the room and it was completely dirty. Our feet were black and a matter of no time there was food still in the refrigerator dirt all over the bathroom door now back to us moving to room 242 we get there. We finally get everything moved from 105 to 242 and we get things situated by this time. It’s almost midnight so we are exhausted and we double check everything Things around the toilet so you know it was clean the doors were clean and I pulled my sheets back to get in the bed and what do I find a huge spider but like I said it’s already really late and I kill the spider and I just say a prayer that nothing eats me in the middle of the night Throughout her day. There were several other bugs and everything did not bring us fresh towels. It was just the absolute worst place to stay and I would say stay away. If you could they need to get the roach infestation down and they need to do something about the spiders. It would be different if it was just walking on the floor or something, but I pulled the sheet back and it was in the bed, oh and aren’t you supposed to check the refrigerators when you clean the room because there was sausage biscuits left in the refrigerator I am very unhappy guest with the days inn
