Air condition was not working properly- fix after the 3rd day
Floor wet ( due to air condition) all the time, never fixed-,4 days with towel in the floor all the time. Room 204.
The staff on the cafeteria(breakfast) were so disrespectful ( even using F word aloud in front of kids) to everybody, my last day I couldn’t stay quiet and voice myself. We are paying for our staying, they are not making us a favor. To tell us to wake up earlier because at 9:15 am was almost empty and didn’t have option to eat. They were like, no we don’t have sausage, we don’t have sandwich, we don’t have waffles, not egg, etc etc. and the manager going outside to the cafeteria to yell “tomorrow nobody eat waffles “

The staff were friendly and the location

The room smelled so bad that we had to report it to the front desk so we did not get charged an additional cleaning fees. Incorrect bedding, pillow smelled bad I had to ask for a replacement. Room was never cleaned during our stay. The carpet was very dirty.

1. Air conditioning unit leaked into rug for entire stay- engineering dept showed up- placed “tabs” into unit and left. I used towels to soak up water from carpet. Cleaning staff shows up on Sunday- doesn’t clean bathroom and leaves soaking wet towel on rug ( where ac unit is leaking). Hotel employee shows up to work early am on Monday- music blaring- parks in from of lobby area and goes inside to work. Guests are now jockeying around her car to load up for check out. A review of bill revealed $5.00 charge for eat and sip, which we did not use while at hotel.

Positives:
Breakfast was very heavy on carbs. Some staff were surly. Many were gathered talking and laughing raising the noise level to so unbearable I had to leave the room. Josh at the front desk was extremely efficient, pleasant and accommodating.
Negatives:
I asked if there were chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Yes, but you had to carry them there your self. We are elderly. There was no one that could help us. The umbrellas and chairs in the closet looked like a thrift store. Nothing matched, they were strewn about. There were sand toys and buckets with sand still in them. I chose an umbrella and was astounded when my husband installed it…it was only 2 feet high…useless!!
Our room smelled like dirty socks and sweaty sneakers. I complained twice and was told someone would come in and spray. I don’t know if they did but it didn’t help. I got a can of Lysol and heavily sprayed the carpet. It helped. The hallway carpets had an odor too.
Every morning a woman was mopping the lobby. She was merely pushing the dirt around and flinging it with the end of the mop. No particles were picked up. She never dipped it in water. There was no bucket in sight.
There were 3 pillows on the bed with extremely wrinkled pillow cases.

No spoons in kitchenette. Hotels says they don't carry them?? Knives, forks yes..no spoons. The carpetsmelled like WET DOG. Reported it, requested a rug shampoo for next guest. Other than than room was great!
Positives:
Quiet, close to the pier and the beach. Love that the pool is not on ground level. Love that there is a mini kitchen in the room.
Negatives:
That you have to pay for parking $21 a night and that there is an incidental fee of $50 a night. Had an issue with our tv that wasn’t fixed until our last night there.

Positives:
Fantastic location! Room was spacious and clean. Hotel was quiet. Staff was great. Breakfast was included. Lobby is fun-tons of bright artwork, a pool table, foosball, areas to get work done . Location, location, location. Fantastic value. Can just about hop to the ocean and restaurants.
Have a pool on the second floor but opted for the ocean. Also have a rooftop bar but didn’t get a chance to visit that either.
Negatives:
Totally missed that parking was $21/day and my brother and I both had out cars so $84 in parking for two nights
