where to start..while front desk staff are very nice, the place at the nightly rate is a dump. Elevators dont work, smelled of smoke covered up by air freshener. The microwave and fridge in room was disgusting and frankly unusable. Sheets where stained and lets not talk about the roaches in the bathroom. Would have been better off sleeping in my car.

IT IS AN OLDER PROPERTY AND THE ROOM WICH WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A DELUX ROOM WAS SMALL. THE SHEETS WERE BUMPY LIKE THEY HAD BEEN OVER-WASHED. I WOULD NOT GO THERE AGAIN.

Nice polite staff, they trying to keep property clean even after huge hurricane damage and flooding. Nice breakfast service. Good value of money and short distance from stunning beaches. Beds were comfortable.

The place was not what I expected. The carpet was dirty/ugly. I had to request for the room to be made as it was not done. Went out at 10 am came back at 4 pm and room was not done.

I contacted them to let them know my employee was arriving but he would be later than midnight. But he was definitely coming. He was setting up for an event in downtown Sarasota. He arrived and they canceled his room for a no show. No consideration given that he had taken an Uber there and told him he could pay again for a night when he was literally checking out at 7;30am. Worse customer service ever. I have been in the Hospitality Industry for over 30 years was a GM and would have never done this to a guest. They should be ashamed. I will never stay here and they never had the decency to respond to my messages. Not cool.

Positives:
The hotel was a good price and you got breakfast included if you got up early enough.
Negatives:
A lot of trash around the hotel. Some of the clientele were a little questionable and loud. If you didn't get up early the guest's would wipe out the sausage by filling their plates but they did add more eggs throughout breakfast hours. There was a number of items to eat so the sausage wasn't a huge deal but just inconsiderate guests. The pool wasn't open, I guess because the hotel is partially under construction.
