Positives:
The location was good for a short term visit to Sarasota. The shuttle helped in getting around the downtown area.
Negatives:
For a higher end hotel, it certainly didn’t feel like it. The walls in the hallways and in the room were banged up and obviously patched in many places. The furniture in the room was also not in good condition. Not everyone enjoys going on the 19th floor with glass panels on the sides for the pool and best bar - especially with the very narrow walkway to get to the main area. The menu in the bar lobby was boring, so skipped that too. This is really feels like a hotel mostly for business travelers or conferences.
