Great location, and the signature smell throughout the hotel is absolutely to die for, I wish they sold it as a room spray. The lobby is beautiful, and the pool is great. Unfortunately that’s about it.
Negatives:
The worst part: Up front the hotel told me they would be putting a $100 a night hold on my card for incidentals, which isn’t a big deal. I woke up to a $4000 hold on my card, which none of the front desk knew about or understood. It was only much later when a manager told me they have started putting not only the $100 a night incidental hold, but a hold for the entire stay up front. This should have been explained far earlier. I was charged for my room on checkout, before the hold “fell off” so If your bank isn’t quick to release holds just be aware that a week may cost you $8,000 for a little while.
The hotel is also dirty, my children had black feet from walking around our room barefoot, totally disgusting. The maid service was extremely sporadic, sometimes they didn’t come until 7pm some times they didn’t come at all. Not once did they change our sheets even after requesting it.
The parking is decent, but they charged me 3 times in a single night for parking. It’s definitely not worth $124.50 to park my car for one night.
