Positives:
Outstanding staff from reception to bar in terms of immediate service and hospitable attitude. Room accessibility & amenities; bathroom water temp & lighting, included breakfast variety. Of our group of about 30 people, all but 2 were pleased with this hotel.
Negatives:
Lack of room price availability/transparency; hotel source itself would not match Booking.com, Expedia, Priceline or similar service quotes; each service offered different rates; persons in same party paid from $400 to $175 per night for same type rooms and amenities. This situation may have depended on when reservations were made. Three elevators insufficient for hotel this size when it is nearly full - though in fairness had to wait only about 30% of time for another car and stay was during Spring Break.

Positives:
The breakfast was very good and the,staff hard working and efficient. The hotel is conveniently located to Busch Gardens and the shuttle to the park eliminates the expense and hassle of parking. Matt, the driver, is excellent & works,with you to coordinate drop off & pick up. The pool area was nice and bigger than the pictures.
The suite rooms are big and good for families. The microwave & fridge are a bonus. I've stayed here before & will stay again.
Negatives:
The front desk staff was hit or miss, we had problems at check in. Our room was hot, musty & smelly. The AC hadn't been turned on.The associate was completely unsympathetic and flatly declared there was no other room. Fortunately the maintenance man was so efficient and got the unit working . The smell faded but never went away. Several front desk people were helpful with the,shuttle etc others were totally disinterested . One elevator never worked during our 3 day stay.

Loved the breakfast and social hour. Employees were all very friendly.

When we arrived at 2:30 to check in, they told me it would be a $25 charge for early check-in. I have stayed at many hotels and Ive never experienced this. Usually if your room is ready, they let you in. Also, the bathroom could use a better cleaning.

The phones didn’t work so we couldn’t use room service and when we called with our cell phones to the lobby it kept on disconnecting. Then the next day our ac and some power went out, we couldn’t call. We were checking out within the next few hours so I mentioned it when I checked out. Seemed like the front desk person was a little frustrated from other “complaints “.

The property was older but attractive with a little wear and tear but the suites were comfortable.
Negatives:
I didn’t like that the price was not the same as quoted on Bookings. They also charged $12 a night for parking in a suburban parking lot that they owned which wasn’t that nice. They also charged a $1 a night fee for the USF campus . Overall. the price was too expensive.
