Good and close to port and airport!
Positives:
Location is just 3 miles through the horrific freeway interchange to the Tampa Airport, so as convenient as you are going to find. We liked that it seemed "away" from the city a bit, quieter. There is also a great restaurant just across the parking lot, just a stroll away. Lots of parking, quiet and cozy rooms that are spacious - which is a RARE find in a midpriced stay anymore. I even used the small business center to send and print some photos for a report needed the next day - very convenient.
Negatives:
The doorkey entry system for the outside doors didn't work for us. It just seemed a little clunky - we had another visitor try to help us get in, and they couldn't get it to work either. Every other thing was great!

Breakfast was a very good value here actually had meats and potatoes. Everything was clean, shower and water pressure were phenomenal. Property was very well maintained and seemed very safe. Parking was plentiful and never an issue. Pool was water was perfectly clean and clear. Front desk was very nice. Enjoyed our stay and when we come back for Redsox Rays series even when they return to the trop we plan to book here.
Negatives:
Prices. However it was cheaper than comprable hotels in the area so nitpicking here about the going rates for rooms.
