Construction work ongoing so was noisy from early in the morning. The promised ear plugs were nowhere to be found. TV didn't work and the shower (although it looked nice) was very poor with very little pressure.

I thought I was lucky to have booked such an overachieving hotel stay and would absolutely stay again if I needed to be in Tampa again. I received a substantial discount over the typical rate - probably because the hotel was completing a major renovation.
Negatives:
The caf inside the hotel was not much to speak of, charging bogus fees for what should be no charge, like napkins and milk in your coffee. I avoided it and was very disappointed. The bath products had a fine scent but not a safety rating (phthalates etc
