Very good
Positives:
location that was closed to most of the parks.
closed to a few restaurants.
Negatives:
good evening. We just arrived home and we want to expand our disappointment about the room (218) .
1.the room was a disgrace ,compared to the pictures , the carpet was all stained with whatever possible , the door was like a dog chew on it as well as the rest of the doors on our floor compared to the bottom floor that looked like i was in a different hotel.
2.the fan in the bathroom was not working so we had to keep the doors closed when one of us was going in there so the smell wasn`t going in the room
3.the worst was when we got there after 4 hours drive , there was NO SOAP OR SHAMPOO in the bathroom.
worst experience in a hotel and the noise nighttime top it off .
we came to relax but was not relaxing at all.
i would like to talk to someone over the phone please and relate my concern and receive a refund because that was not a hotel where you can come with a family and a child .
thank you

Positives:
I like the location of this property. It was very close to two major highways, Busch Gardens, and the USF Tampa Campus. I liked the staff because they were very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the free breakfast. There were many food options, and it helps to save some money in comparison to going out to buy breakfast every day.
Negatives:
This is an older property. In our room, the mattresses were sunken in, the paint on the walls was either stained or chipped (in some spots), the AC unit was incredibly loud, and one side of the room has electrical issues.

Good stay
Positives:
Such a warm welcome we received! Check-in was very easy. We were given a "handicapped accessible room", which we did not request or need. The staff member who checked us in tried to find us a regular room, at our request, because we were concerned about depriving appropriate accommodations from someone who needed such a room. There were no other rooms available, so we kept that room. Staff was very friendly- we were greeted with smiles and kind words.
Room was very clean. Plenty of towels in the bathroom and bathroom was spotless.
Breakfast was nice- scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, bagels and danishes, as well as coffee, teas, and juices.
Location is great for USF activities- very close! Not our first time staying here, and won't be our last.
Negatives:
There was nothing to dislike.

Not luxurious but quite comfortable
Positives:
The location only. Was very easy to get to my different destinations.
Negatives:
No one answered the phones when I call the site. When I arrived the people was having a long conversation with the workers on if they wanted them to pick up food, & then the other discussing how they're wife has him on a strict diet. I also had to switch the rooms due to the a/c not working.

It's was peaceful and quiet
Positives:
During our brief stay, we had the pleasure of experiencing the hotel's breakfast buffet, which stood out as a particularly noteworthy highlight. The buffet offered an impressive array of options, catering to diverse tastes and dietary preferences. This variety not only enriched our morning but also represented a value proposition that effectively complemented our stay, despite its short duration.
We were especially appreciative of the hotel's accommodating policy that permitted us to take food back to our room. This consideration proved invaluable for a member of our party who was experiencing mobility issues, allowing them to enjoy their meal in the comfort and privacy of our room without the need to navigate the dining area.
Moreover, the proximity of the hotel to Moffitt was a significant convenience for our visit, facilitating our travel arrangements and reducing the logistical challenges often associated with visiting nearby institutions.
In sum, our experience at was positively marked by the quality and flexibility of the breakfast service, as well as the strategic location of the hotel. These factors greatly contributed to our overall satisfaction and would encourage us to consider [Hotel Name] for future accommodation needs in the area.
Negatives:
During our recent stay, we encountered a series of inconveniences that unfortunately detracted from our overall experience. Firstly, it became apparent upon entering our accommodations that several of the room's lights were non-functional, which, coupled with an inherently dim lighting atmosphere, created an unwelcoming ambiance. Furthermore, the elevator's operation elicited a sense of unease, failing to instill the confidence one would expect in such essential infrastructure.
The aesthetic and operational aspects of the hotel suggest a property that has not kept pace with contemporary standards, evoking a markedly antiquated feel. It is our belief that the hotel would greatly benefit from comprehensive updates and renovations to align with the expectations of today's travelers.
In addition to structural and aesthetic concerns, we noted deficiencies in the provision of basic amenities. The absence of toothbrushes and toothpaste was noted, and our request for additional pillows could not be adequately fulfilled, indicating a shortfall in meeting guest needs.
The room's climate control system was another point of contention, providing inadequate temperature regulation while emitting a persistent and distracting noise. However, the most distressing issue we encountered related to the shower facilities. The mechanism for temperature control was far from intuitive, fluctuating between extremes of cold and scalding hot water with minimal adjustment potential. This not only posed a challenge for a comfortable shower experience but also raised concerns regarding guest safety.
In conclusion, while we recognize the potential charm and appeal of the hotel, our stay was marred by a series of deficiencies that impacted our comfort and overall satisfaction. We hope that our feedback is received as constructive, highlighting areas for improvement that could significantly enhance the guest experience in the future.
