Motel 6-Venice FL

Positives: Safe, clean, very fast internet. We stayed for one night on our way down to the keys and we really liked it here. Can’t wait to stay again.

Positives: Came out with my daughter for a weekend getaway in venice. This motel is super close to everything! Room was nice, everybody who worked there was friendly!

Positives: I am glad to see a nice motel 6. I have been a long time guest of the hotel chain , it's sad to me so many locations are not nice any longer. Stefanie was a pleasure to interact with ... Each interaction made me walk away with a smile. As I walked around the property there were guys actually doing maintenance. Nice work thanks

Positives: My husband, son and I stayed for 9 nights. I booked here because it was pet friendly but our doggy stayed home this trip. The rooms looked nice online but I should have examined the pictures more closely. The room is super tiny. The beds are doubles and one bed is shoved against the window and the other against the wall. You can barely fit between them. There is no dresser and only four hangers for clothes so our 10 days worth of clothes stayed in the bags we brought them in, in front of the bathroom. Ladies. The shower head was installed backwards. There’s no room in the shower to shave your legs! I’ve been in bigger showers in RV’s! It would be nice to have the sink and mirror outside the bathroom so someone can get ready while someone is showering. The beds aren’t comfortable and the pillows were terrible. We went to Target and bought some. Thankfully we brought our coffee maker because there isn’t one in the room! Terrible! The pool was dirty the whole time we were there but was enjoyable nonetheless. We were ready to overlook this because it was a cheap room but there was a drunk woman (or maybe she was high) that would pass out every night in front of her room and an issue with staff. When we left for the beach on April 4th around noon I noticed someone installing kick plates on the room doors. He was on the outside of the doors, the room doors stayed shut. We left some valuables in our room and when we came back to the motel at 5:30 pm our door was wide open and a staff member was standing inside our room!! There was no reason to be in our room and the guy working on the door even said that. When the staff was confronted he never said a word. We received zero notice about this! I am extremely uncomfortable with someone being in the room with no notice and no reason to be! No notice there was work to be done and why would they need to be in the room to install a kick plate on the outside door! Very invasive and scary!
