Positives: The building itself is beautiful. I love that it’s old. However, it’s in need of a lot of maintenance and upkeep. The bed was comfy and you couldn’t hear anyone in the hotel or exterior noises. The room was clean but lots of maintenance is needed. Hopefully someone will spend the money to repair and make the renovations needed.
Negatives: The garage parking was a little skeptical. There was trash everywhere and the key didn’t work to let you in the building from the garage. Everyone was having issues.

Positives: Nothing!!!
Negatives: On the booking.com app there isn't a area that I can find anything about a security deposit of a hundred dollars when you arrive at the hotel.. Welll this was something I didn't plan for and we ended up sleeping in our car because we already paid for the room. We even had a brother in law try to pay the deposit and they wouldn't except the payment because he wasn't there to do it in person. We stayed at the Artmore one year ago. Never stay there again. It's a rip off now.

Positives: this hotel should not be open at this point. it’s need to be shot down for renovation half of the decor and bar is already prepared for it what makes it even worst

horrible expierience
Mary solo traveller May 28, 2023
Positives: The room was very nice, clean and comfortable, with a nice small kitchen, but with one issue ; the pillows were awful, lumpy, hard and flat. I was was unable to get comfortable, and slept very little. I reported this to the desk the next morning and was told that new pillows would be provided. When I returned to my room that evening, they had not been replaced. The night attendant said there were no other pillows available, and couldn’t do anything about it. After a few minutes of discussion, she finally got two pillows for me from another guest room. Although not in the best of condition, they were somewhat better, and I was able to sleep. If this hotel is going to stay in business, this problem should be addressed.
Negatives: New pillows and better quality coffee capsules should be prob used. See the report above. Also, the outside area needs attention; many half-dead plants, dead leaves and dirt in piles .

Positives: It was close to where we were going. The small kitchen was nice to have.
Negatives: The moment we arrived a staff member gave us the wrong info about parking. When we came back to the hotel.we were told by a manager that she would take off our parking fee the first night for her employees mistake after going on and on about her employee should know better as she trained her in. It never was taken iff and hope it is now as the employee at check out believed me and took itboff. She was nice. The manager the first night later told us no extra sheets or blankets were available and she would work on this but noted when booking thru company's like your company often forgets to ask the hotel for these things that I asked for and was promised at booking. She said no sheets were provided for pull out bed, which was much smaller than pictured on website. Also, the lock on the door was carved out. Staff responded with blame and little intention on honoring requests. The manager even went on about how we should have looked at parking signs in the ramp her employee directed us to, like we were idiots. The carpets were so dirty, sticky in spots. I found things on the ground from previous stays. It smelled. I really want my money back from your company as you support this hotel and the price did not fit the worth. We had to stay the second night as we would have lost the money we had paid already. I had no more fsith in the mansger either.. I am asking you for a refund. I know it is an old and unique hotel, but it truly was an awful experience

Poor

Positives: It was so close to the MARTA staton! It was so easy to walk there with my 9 year old to go wherever we needed to go. The room had a comfy bed and a good kitchenette area. We loved the artwork down the halls. It was very unique and fun.
Negatives: Hall on our floor smelled like weed. Once in our room, we couldn’t smell it. Toilet easily clogged with no reason. Front desk directed to me to where a plunger was located on each floor. If this is recurring issue, maybe plungers should just be available in all rooms.

Positives: charming vintage hotel, close to train and the High Museum
Negatives: We would have liked more restaurants in the area.

Great economy hotel, nice rooms.
Carol solo traveller April 29, 2023
Positives: The room was very comfortable and included a kitchen area. However, no crockery or utensils were provided [two paper cups] so the kitchen was not practical.
Negatives: See above. The hotel should provide at least two plates, sets of utensils, etc. as there is nowhere to get them nearby. Also the toiletries provided are minimal - a bar of soap and a tube of conditioning shampoo. I expected more. It's great that there is a garage in the basement [currently $20 per day self-parking] but it should be noted that it's tricky for large cars and even for smaller cars because of all the pillars. Also the bar was never open.

Positives: It was interesting to see what was left from when the building was built in 1924 which isn’t much. Staff was great. Wish we had more time to explore.
Negatives: There is no valet parking- you park in the building’s basement and it is tight! The courtyard kinda felt let go. The bar was not open. Bathroom was TINY! Was informed that they will be remodeling soon.

Passable
Ioannis review category business travellers April 23, 2023
Positives: The location
Negatives: Hotel was in serious need of maintenance. The first night I returned to my room to find one window cracked and wide open. The staff temporarily closed the window, but didn't move me to another room until the other day. Also, there was a big price drop (~50%) when I arrived compared to the price listed when I booked.

Positives: The staff were generally friendly.
Negatives: The check in experience was underwhelming with a clerk who ate and spoke on a speaker phone as she checked us in. The lobby door need painting! The lobby needs a facelift. Does anyone still eat peanuts out of a communal bowl! Our room was sad sack. It needs a refresh and the broken bathroom counter should be replaced
