Negatives: For it being the Hyatt, I expect excellence, and everything looked old, like it hadnt been remodeled in years. We book 4.5 to 5 stars hotels often and this was ok, and the room was again ok, but I wont stay there again. I would go across the street!

Positives: Lovely lobby with a covered entrance to unload bags, a beautiful zen garden, peaceful waterfall, and patio in back.
Negatives: 1. Before booking, a front desk employee confirmed the pool was heated and open. Checking-in 30 minutes later, we were informed the pool was closed indefinitely the day before. 2. The bathtub was clogged, so we were unable to shower during our stay.

Positives: The Japanese garden at the heart of the hotel is fantastic. You can view the garden from the first floor during breakfast when the Cassis restaurant is open. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and it's very warm and cozy. The staff is very friendly too.
Negatives: It's unfortunate that you can only go into the first floor of the Japanese garden if you reserve the space for an event. The key cards are also funky 'cause it doesn't indicate where exactly to swipe the card, but you get used to it eventually.
