Positives: The location was good and the staff was very kind. The hotel was quiet and the lobby was nice.
Negatives: The room was not in good condition. There were big stains on 3 areas of the carpet, stains on the blinds, chair, ceiling, comforter, and lampshades. The walls also had stains, the bedside table had something dried that had ran down the side, and there was a hole in the wall. The light fixtures above the bedside are so dated that nothing would stay plugged into the outlets. The furniture was chipped and busted. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom. There was no hot water. We couldn’t move rooms due to the hotel being sold out. I was told we are getting some money back-never told how much, but am still waiting on that. We just stayed this past weekend. If the other rooms are like the one my family was put in, they need to put reservations on hold and do a major overhaul. We paid $320 after taxes and fees for one night at this hotel. That is completely insane given the state of the room we were given. The hotel reminded me of a truck stop hotel. We stay at Hamptons regularly and have never encountered this issue. However, we are scheduled another stay next week in a different state at a Hampton and I am thinking of cancelling due to the condition of this hotel.

Positives: Close to family residence. Met standard expected for hotel.
Negatives: Room was not serviced. Left at 10am, returned at 9pm. Bed was not made. There was a leak from shower which soaked bathmat and left the bathroom floor wet. When dry bathmat and towels were requested, I was told that I would have to come to lobby to pick them up as the front desk person was the only staff person there.

Positives: Pleasant, no-hassle stay with delicious breakfast and a quiet atmosphere. Plenty of parking and 24-hour coffee. Demario was our front-desk agent, and he was awesome to deal with.
Negatives: Carpets could be a bit cleaner. In fact, they should be replaced in every hotel for hard flooring, in my humble opinion. It's just impossible to keep them looking clean when you have a high-traffic establishment.
