The young lady who was responsible for breakfast on 11/25. I think her name was Patsy. She went above and beyond with pleasantries and customer service. 5
Negatives:
My overall experience was definitely unfavorable. At check-in on 11/24 I was only given one key and told there was a shortage of keys due to it being only 15 left and they had other guest checking in. Secondly on the night of 11/25, my family and I went to sit at the fire pit and it would not start/ignite. I went to the front desk to ask for assistance. The clerk told me she could not assist, and that there was no maintenance available and the clerk ( which was the GM) had no idea how to assist me. She did not even attempt. I specifically picked this lodging space for the advertised amenities. The way that I was told oh well is unacceptable. As a Regional Commercial Property Manager, her answer is totally unacceptable.

The hotel and room was fine. There was a extra charge on my card for an extra 120.00. When I asked the front desk I was was told it was a pet fee. I wasnt told about the charge at check in. I this surprise fee is a scam.

A surprise pet fee of 120.00 I later noticed on my card. There was no mention at check in. If I knew in advance I would not have booked this hotel.

Complained to front desk agent Mama Kone anout stopped sink , water couldnt drain . Not apologetic or concerned . Offered us a different room . I told her that was too inconvenient to move . For us . I asked for a discount . Not happening .
I was unpacked and my husband has Alzheimers . Too much to do .
We had a wedding to go to that day .
The disgusting sink drain piece was removed rinsed but not clean and left by a lady who came to room and came to same conclusion I had when I looked under sink. The drain part was not connected to sink. . A plumber was to come at 2 . I told Mama he could come in even though we would not be there.
Came home that night sink still not fixed . Told Mama on Sunday morning . She could have cared less no apology .
Left the Residence Inn in Brunswick with an unsatisfied experience . This was not what I expected from a Marriott stay .
The facility was nice but the front desk staff Friday night and Saturday and Sunday morning was not only not welcoming but indifferent . Just did the minimum job necessary .
We were in room 236 , hopefully they fixed the sink for the next guests .
