The hotel was overbooked, so we had to have 2 separate king suites. This could have been more inconvenient for other families, but worked well for us. Weekly social hour with d'oeuvres.
Negatives:
I do not recall seasonal months listed upon booking of when pool is open. It was quite warm during our stay in late April and we would have loved for the pool to have been open. Sofa bed was too small for 2 bigger kids, very thin mattress, and a lot of dog hair from a previous guest on it.

My keys to my room had to be reset 3 times each day. It was an unpleasant and frustrating experience especially when I was carrying groceries and food up to my room on the second floor. I also found hair on my “clean” bathroom towels. It was disgusting.

Due to a mix-up in hotels, we were booked at the wrong IHG location. At the last minute, the one on Ft Moore had 2 rooms available 2 accommodate our family of 6, but we had only 2 beds for all of us, 1 in each room. After 2 days of this, they had another room available that would sleep all of us. We changed rooms, but the room was very cramped with all of our suitcases, since we were in the midst of moving out of state, & traveling with our dog & cat.
Housekeeping was accommodating, & maintenance was quick to respond to fix the heat when we changed rooms.
There is a limited breakfast at Gavin Hall & a full breakfast available at the main hotel.
Negatives:
One of the poop bag dispensers was not working, so many pet owners were not picking up after their dogs on the side of the building.
Not all of the guests at Gavin Hall were aware of the breakfast at the main hotel.

Friendly staff, room was clean, free snack and beer or wine if you desired, near where I was working.
Negatives:
Only problem I had is my card is still pending the charge, but the charge is showing $100.00 more that the cost. Waiting to see if it was a security deposit or what. The hallways needed to be vacuumed. Other than that, Perfect. Staf was extremely friendly.
