Positives: Location and cleanliness.
Negatives: Front desk staff not pleasant to work with. Very curt and annoyed with requests. Comforters on beds were bed skirts (not proper comforters) and when front desk staff told of this, the response was, rudely, well, thats all we have!. Beds are bouncy.

Positives: The room is nice. The breakfast is well presented.
Negatives: I travel with a service dog. The staff was notified upon check in and they verified that there is no charge for service dogs. After leaving the following morning, I discovered that I had been billed $80 because they said that they found a pet hair in the room. Also the manager insisted that I provide the hotel proof that my dog is a service dog. The dog in question is a Labradoodle, picked expressly for this duty because of the fact that they do not shed. Both of these demands are *very* illegal, and it shows that hair was not the issue. It also demonstrates the management's ignorance of Federal Law. I advised the manager that according to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), it is illegal to charge for a service dog unless there is physical damage to the room. I also advised him that it is illegal to ask for documentation of a dog being a service dog. ( You can find this for yourself by conducting an internet search for " questions regarding service dogs according to the ADA. I asked for photos of the alleged hair that necessitated the charge. I was told that they did not have to provide proof. The manager then became enraged, abusive, and aggressive. It's quite apparent that this property regularly and illegally charges people regularly for service dogs through whatever means they see fit. I will be filing a complaint for violation of my civil rights due to this harassment over ADA regulations. I have also disputed the charge and notified Hilton Corporate. So why am I filing the complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice? I'm doing so to prevent this abusive and ignorant manager from aggressively bullying future customers with Service Dogs.

Positives: The staff at the front desk is very professional, from their dress to the way the speak to customers. I felt safe and like I was in a clean, well-cared for hotel. The room was spacious and spotless, and The ac worked wonderfully! The location is near shopping and restaurants in a safe part of town. If you are a female traveling alone, this is an excellent choice! I started out at another hotel in Cumming, but it smelled like chemicals in my room and random grubby-looking men were running around the lobby and in the parking lotshouting. Then I moved to this hotel and was so happy I did! Do yourself a favor and start your journey with Home2Suites
Negatives: I wish someone had reminded me about the laundry facilities when I checked in. The frozen and boxed food you can buy is convenient, but its too expensive!
