Rooms were not very clean. Bedspreads had many stains on them. Towels had stains on them. Electrical outlet not working. The AC/heat unit was so loud we couldn't keep it on at night. Window was broken ...not able to lock window and when shut was not tight to keep out noise. Only had one rolling chair to sit on. Not enough areas to put clothes and items if staying for more than a few days

When I searched for pet friendly hotels in Lavonia this hotel was the first that came up. (I included a screenshot.). from booking.com. , so I logically assumed it was ok. I prepaid (nonrefundable) and when I arrived I picked up my keycard. Later when the owner/manager (Minesh Patel) saw me bring my little dog in he had a fit. He said I had to pay $250. penalty. I said then I would just leave if this place isn’t pet friendly. He said if I left he would call the police because I had to pay the fine anyway since I brought the dog in. He was very rude and aggressive the whole conversation. He kept threatening to call the police, and when I showed him this screenshot he said he didn’t care, it wasn’t his problem. I also had to pay a damage deposit.
There was no need for him to be so rude and aggressive. I didn’t know it wasn’t pet friendly until I had already paid and checked in and he told me.
I’ll never stay there again and will recommend others don’t. This man already had prior complaints about his rudeness.

Rudest manager I’ve ever seen.

Staff was courteous and the room was clean.
Negatives:
Light from the hallway and all the signs outside made it impossible to darken the room at night. The lights in the room could only be off or very, very bright, cool light which coupled with the white walls, and grey, rugless floor made for a very surgical theater feel. Turning on a huge daylight bulb next to bed when you wake up isn't great.

Upon checking in the guy at the desk told us there would be a $50 deposit. No problem he recommended paying that in cash. Again no problem. Once we got in the room it smelled musty but we brushed it off because we were going to a concert and would only be in the room for a few hours afterward to sleep before heading back home. Doors were slammed all night and morning waking us up. When we checked out the same guy accused us of smoking in the room and kept our $50 deposit. We don’t even smoke!!! When I asked for receipt he said I would get through booking.com since I went through a third party which is fine, but I demanded he give me a receipt for the $50 he kept. He basically scammed me and told me it was my fault because I didn’t complain about the room when I checked in. So much for not trying to be a difficult guest! I would think twice before staying here. They should be ashamed of themselves for being so utterly dishonest!

Staff was helpful. Location was good. It was close to plenty of food options and gas. Easy to find. It was clean.
Negatives:
Well first of all we were given one towel one hand towel and no wash clothes for two people. The shampoo was empty in shower. No bathmat to be found. The AC unit sounded like a motorcycle all night long it was August and 90 plus degrees so when we shut it off it got too hot. We had been driving for over 8 hours and got in late. We just wanted to shower and some sleep because we had a long journey next morning another 8 plus hours. No sleep !
